Leeds win DSC of Achievement Award
We are delighted to announce that our Leeds branch have been awarded “DSC of Achievement” at the Limbless Association Awards, held on 27th November 2009 at the Sheraton Skyline Hotel in London.
The centre are at the forefront of service delivery thanks to RSLSteeper’s world leading CADCAM technology that will allow the introduction an innovative service model where primary patients will receive their prosthesis in the same day they attend to be measured. The centre is also the first UK centre to integrate and use the Nintendo Wii to assist with gait rehabilitation.
This is the second time Leeds have won this award and in the last few years they have also been recognised by the LA, winning awards for “Service Delivery Innovation”, “Outstanding Service by an Individual Professional” and “Services to Other Users”.
Our congratulations are extended to the team for their continual effort to keep Leeds at the forefront of prosthetic and orthotic service delivery.
